Lal Batman: Artist in Residence

Madison Gallery is honored to unveil Seven Majestic Journeys, a compelling new body of work created by Lal Batman during her summer artist residency in California, taking place 3 June - 3 July 2026. 

Developed over the course of her residency, the exhibition reflects the artist's immersion in the rhythms, landscapes, and spirit of California, approached with the same curiosity, experimentation, and femininity that define her interdisciplinary practice. Seven Majestic Journeys offers an intimate glimpse into a pivotal moment in Batman's evolving career, capturing the dialogue between place, process, and artistic discovery.
